What is Early Intervention?

Early Intervention consists of various services available to eligible children who are birth to five years old at no cost to families.  These are designed to work closely with the child’s family or caregivers to support the child in learning and meeting their developmental milestones within their natural environment.  UCP of Central PA provides these state-administered services to children aged 0-3 years old as a Part C Early Intervention provider under the Individual with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). We provide services in the counties highlighted in the map below. Click on the county in which you live to learn more about and start the Early Intervention referral process.
